Are you looking for super fine CaCO3 white stone powder? You want to know the current uses of superfine white limestone powder (CaCO3) in various industries? Please take a look at the article below.
What is CaCO3 Superfine Stone Powder?
Superfine white limestone powder, primarily composed of CaCO3 (calcium carbonate), is extracted from natural white limestone quarries. Through the construction process, including crushing and grinding, the limestone is processed into a final product that is widely available in the market.

Manufacturing process of super fine limestone powder.
Currently, with the uses of modern technologies and machinery, the production of ultrafine white limestone powder (CaCO3) has become easier and can achieve higher quality.
Duc Thinh owns the most modern limestone powder plant currently, along with high-quality limestone quarries, enabling the production of ultrafine white limestone powder (CaCO3) that meets the most stringent requirements of customers in various industries.
The detailed production process of Duc Thinh is as follows:
Step 1: Select good quality raw stone from Duc Thinh white marble quarries
Step 2: Proceed to clean and remove dust, as well as separate the raw limestone into suitable-sized rough stones. Transport the raw limestone to the plant to feed it into the grinding machine.
Step 3: Feed the rough stones into the grinding machine and grind them multiple times until a batch of finely ground limestone powder is obtained, with the desired fineness and particle size.
Step 4: Inspection and Packaging: After the batches of limestone powder come out of the grinding machine, they will be inspected by staff for quality assurance. Then, they will be packaged in bags of different weights, ranging from 50kg to 1-ton > Jumbo bags.
Step 5: Storage in the Warehouse: After being packaged, the limestone powder will be transported to the warehouse for storage. If there are customers purchasing the product, it will undergo another quality inspection before being released from the warehouse.

Uses of Superfine white CaCO3 powder in various industries
Stone powder is used in many different industries, specifically as follows:
- The uses of ultrafine white limestone powder (CaCO3) in plastic production include increasing hardness, creating smoothness and reducing costs for plastic products.
- In the paint manufacturing industry, ultrafine white limestone powder enhances the optical properties and weight of paint products. It is widely used in two types of paint: primer paint and decorative paint.
- In ceramic production, limestone powder serves as a primary source of calcium oxide for the firing process and helps reduce the shrinkage of ceramics during firing.
- In the paper industry, limestone powder accounts for up to 20% of the composition in paper production. It increases opacity, brightness, and printability of the paper.
- Rubber production: Limestone powder improves the properties of vulcanized rubber, enhancing its tensile strength, abrasion resistance, tear resistance, and hardness.
- Agricultural uses: Limestone powder is widely used in agricultural fertilizer production to stabilize pH levels, prevent acidity, control salinity, and act as an essential additive in pesticide manufacturing.
- Glass manufacturing: It helps to create viscosity and increase the strength of glass.
- Used in the production of animal feed
- Used in detergent production
- Used in environmental treatment.
