The quality of super fine limestone powder depends greatly on the quality of the raw limestone material used. The capacity of the quarry to meet production demands and the quality of the stone in terms of whiteness, brightness, and CaCO3 content are important questions that many customers are concerned about.
What is CaCO3 white stone?
White CaCO3 stone is a popular type of stone, and it has been one of the most useful and versatile materials for over 5000 years. They make up about 4% of the Earth’s crust and can be found all over the world in the form of chalk, limestone, and marble, which are formed from the accumulation of fossilized remains of small shells, clams, and coral over millions of years.

Although the mentioned forms of rock have similar chemical compositions, they differ greatly in terms of purity, thickness, whiteness, and homogeneity. Therefore, only the CaCO3 rock mines that meet the highest technical standards and quality are selected by Đức Thịnh for extraction.
CaCO3 white stone quarry in Vietnam
In Vietnam, although there are quite a few ore mines, only a few of them have high enough quality to be used, and even some mines prioritize supplying raw materials for industries such as plastics, paints, adhesives, glues, food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, paper, ink, and agriculture rather than the construction and road industries.
The two locations, Luc Yen (Yen Bai) and Quy Hop (Nghe An), are where large reserves of CaCO3 limestone are found. The limestone in these areas has high whiteness, high CaCO3 content, and low impurities, meeting the requirements of various industries.

Duc Thinh’s CaCO3 white stone quarry
Duc Thinh CaCO3 Factory sources its raw materials from three limestone mines: Thung Nam mine, Thung Xan II mine, and Chau Tien mine in Quy Hop district, Nghe An province. These mines have large reserves and high-quality limestone with a CaCO3 content of over 98% and high whiteness and brightness. Our mines are rated among the best in Vietnam by reputable experts. The quality of the limestone here can be used as a supplementary raw material for various industrial sectors.
